It has been announced that the Hanover Bentinck and Brant Agricultural Society, the owners of Hanover Raceway, are donating to the official fund that the Central Ontario Standardbred Association has set up to support those affected by the Classy Lane Training Centre barn fire.
The agricultural society is donating $2,500 to the fund.
President Randy Rier has said that as an entity that is also in the stabling business, the Hanover Bentinck and Brant Agricultural Society was devastated to hear the news about the barn fire and that it is sympathetic to everyone affected by the situation.
