The Government of New Brunswick has announced that it is looking to appoint an individual to a vacant Commission Member position within the Maritime Provinces
Harness Racing Commission.
A Government of New Brunswick release states that the department of finance is now accepting expressions of interest from individuals who would like to be considered for appointment.
General duties of commissioners include: attending meetings (generally held monthly) in Kensington, PE and on occasion, other areas in the Maritimes, conduct hearings and appeal hearings when necessary, revising rules and regulations for racing where applicable and the recruitment and training of race officials and judges.
The deadline for submission is February 9, 2010.
