A reminder to all horsepeople that all Standardbreds racing in Canada will be required to be microchipped to race as of January 1, 2022.
The deadline was extended to December 31, 2021 as a result of restrictions in place due to COVID-19.
SC ID Technicians currently working are wearing Personal Protective Equipment and working under Public Health Guidelines, practicing proper health and safety protocols, when they visit farms and training centres, to ensure the health and safety of our members.
Farm visits can be scheduled by contacting the ID Technician in your region, or members can complete a location report for their stable.
