Pat Hall, a longtime horseman and horse racing official, and son of Don Hall, passed away on January 8, five days after his 67th birthday.
Pat and his wife, Kathy, had been involved in a head-on car collision on November 23 and had been in intensive care at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor with multiple injuries since then.
There will be a memorial service celebrating his life in mid-May, in Northville, Mich. Details will come later.
