PEI Pedigree Seminars Announced

The PEI Colt Stakes will host a series of pedigree seminars to assist Standardbred breeders to plan their breedings for the coming year.

The seminars will be conducted by Norman Hall, manager of the PEI Colt Stakes, and will focus on making the correct stallion choice for the mare. Stallion listings for the Maritimes and Ontario will be available at the meetings.

The schedule for the series is as follows

Friday, January 16 – Montague Curling Club – 7 p.m.
Friday, January 23 – Credit Union Place (main floor meeting room) – 7 p.m.
Friday, January 30 – Red Shores Charlottetown (special event room) – 7 p.m.

The sessions are open to all breeders and owners of Standardbred horses as well as the general public interested in finding out more about the breeding industry on PEI.

All attendees will receive a three-month complimentary subscription to PM Online, a new internet-based pedigree research resource provided by Pedigree Matching.
