TVG, part of the FanDuel Group and premier advance deposit wagering (ADW) platform, is pleased to announce it will hold the first in a series of online live-money qualifying events as part of the World Harness Handicapping Championship (WHHC).
The TVG qualifier will take place this Saturday (Jan. 12) and requires players to make ten $10 win/place wagers on any races from the Meadowlands, Woodbine Mohawk Park, and Yonkers Raceway. The contest will award two spots to the $150,000 World Harness Handicapping Championship, the largest tournament in the industry, which will take place on April 13 at the Meadowlands Racetrack. The spot includes the $1,300 entry fee and bankroll, a $500 travel credit, a two-night hotel accommodation, and $250 cash. Other cash prizes will also be awarded to contestants finishing in third and fourth place ($1,000 each) and fifth through seventh place ($500 each). Contestants also keep any winnings accumulated during the contest.
Other qualifying tournaments will be held leading up to the WHHC Final in April.
