It has been reported that New York Racing Association CEO Chris Kay has received a $250,000 bonus after having met some job-related goals.
An article by the Times Union states that in an interview Kay would not disclose the goals that were reached.
The report also states that Kay deferred to NYRA Board Chairman David Skorton when asked about specifics about the goals.
"It isn't appropriate for me to answer that question,” Kay was quoted as saying. “It's an appropriate question for the person who makes that decision. Believe me, he's (Skorton is) a man of integrity — I just want to make sure you knew for the record he's a man of integrity."
