2020 COSA Harness Racing Fantasy Stable Terms and Conditions

1. **The 2020 COSA Harness Racing Fantasy Stable will be conducted from June 26, 2020 through to October 17, 2020. Contest entry will open on April 15, 2020 and close at 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, June 25, 2020. No purchase is necessary. There is no cost to register. Contest is open to those who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of registration. The contest is void in whole where prohibited by law.

2. **The contest will close for entries at 5:00 p.m. (EST) on June 25, 2020. Mailed-in entries must be postmarked on or before June 25, 2020 to be accepted.

3. **The top player will be the entrant whose selections have amassed the highest bankroll between June 26, 2020 and October 17, 2020.

a) Each participant must select one horse or person from each category.
b) Bankrolls will be recorded in Canadian funds, and based on horses’ total earnings, five per cent of OSS purse earnings for trainers and drivers, and 10 per cent of stallion’s progeny earnings from 2020 OSS races only. Earnings will be based on official earnings as recorded by Standardbred Canada on October 17, 2020.
c) For the purposes of the fantasy bankroll, the winners (horses only) of the 2020 OSS Super Finals and Grassroots Championships will each receive a $50,000 contest bankroll bonus. In the event of a dead heat in a Grassroots/Super Final, the $50,000 will be divided among the dead heating horse(s). No other bonuses will be given.

**Due to COVID-19, contest organizers have the right to cancel, or change the end date of this contest depending on how the COVID-19 pandemic affects the 2020 racing season. Visit standardbredcanada.ca for updates on Terms and Conditions.

4. Failure to complete a selection in any category will result in a random selection being awarded in that category.

5. Only one entry will be accepted per individual and e-mail address. Multiple entries will result in immediate disqualification. Standardbred Canada (SC) and COSA reserve the right to disqualify any contestant which they believe has submitted more than one entry. Submissions with incomplete, bogus or invalid names and/or e-mail addresses will not be accepted.

6. Employees, Directors and immediate family who reside at the same residence as COSA, SC, or any provincial/state racing commission employees are not eligible for this contest.

7. No phoned-in entries are allowed.

8. SC/COSA assume no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, ineligible or mutilated entries. SC/COSA is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable hardware or software or telephone transmission or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmission or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of SC/COSA and will not be returned.

9. SC/COSA reserve the sole right to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to this contest.

10. Anything not covered in these rules will be ruled on by the management of SC/COSA and their decision will be final and binding.

11. SC/COSA reserve the right to contact any and all contestants.

12. 1st prize: Suite at Woodbine Mohawk Park with a $1,500 food voucher and $100 betting vouchers* for 25 people in the suite.
• 2nd prize: $500 betting voucher*.
• 3rd prize: $400 betting voucher*.
• 4th prize: $300 betting voucher*.
• 5th prize: $200 betting voucher*.
• 6th - 20th: $50 betting voucher*.

*The betting vouchers/prizes will be good for use at any racetrack in Ontario, or the winner(s) may choose to have the money deposited into their HPI account. There will be no substitutions to these two options.

13. Ties will be settled by random draw, of those who are tied, conducted by SC/COSA.

14. Contestants, by entering the contest, agree to be bound by the above rules and regulations.
