The trip was a tough one for Good Friday Three in Monday’s $7,500 Preferred 3 for horse and gelding pacers at The Raceway at Western Fair District, but it didn’t stop him from getting his picture taken.

Starting from the second tier, Good Friday Three got away third for driver Alfie Carroll while Tero muscled to the lead and fired out first-half fractions of :27.3 and :57.2. Good Friday Three was on the move from first-over as the field neared the mid-way point, and he showed a short lead while racing parked outside of Tero at the three-quarter pole in 1:25.2. A :29.3 closing panel helped Good Friday Three earn the head decision over race favourite Adore Him in 1:55. Rounding out the Trifecta ticket was ER Zach Attack.

Bill Robinson trains the five-year-old son of Mach Three-Smileallthewayhome for Dave Serwatuk, BC Reicheld Stables, Cyndi Lundrigen and Rob Watts. The homebred improved this year’s record to 3-3-1 from 13 starts while pushing his lifetime earnings past $95,000.
