Wolff Named Meadowlands Track Superintendent

The New Jersey Sports Exposition Authority has named Gary Wolff as superintendent of Track and Backstretch Operations at Meadowlands Racetrack.

Wolff will oversee the maintenance of both the Meadowlands harness and thoroughbred racing surfaces and its backstretch properties. He was the track superintendent at Hoosier Park and a consultant for the 2008 Breeders Cup and Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park.

Wolff brings over 30 years of experience to the Meadowlands position. He previously served as track superintendent at Freehold Raceway (1999-2008) and Garden State Park (1992-1999).

Wolff began his career at Buffalo Raceway, where he worked from 1974 until 1992, concluding that time as track superintendent. Wolff has also worked as a racing surface consultant for Colonial Downs and Indiana Downs.
