Two Timer Tops Day 2 At Harrisburg

The second session of the six-day Standardbred Horse Sale is now in the books, and Two Timer goes down as the highest priced yearling of the day.

Consigned by Diamond Creek Farm, the daughter of Andover Hall changed hands for $180,000. The filly is the second foal out of Gracious Marla, a Malabar Man sister to the dam of Snow White (1:52.4 - $1,443,551).

Tony Alagna of Steger, IL, acting as agent, signed the sales slip on Two Timer.

Richard Young of Coconut Beach, FL laid out $127,000 to purchase Payoff Blue Chip. The Western Terror – Dark Fiber colt, who was consigned by Blue Chip Farms, is the half-brother to Lennon Blue Chip (1:51.1 - $382,291).

Keystone Bernard, a son of Cantab Hall out of Balanced Action, went to Ron Gurfein of Delray Beach, FL for $110,000. He was consigned by Hempt Farms.

Gord Irwin of Cobourg, ON signed the ticket on Theta Blue Chip, a Western Terror filly out of Magical Pride. Consigned by Blue Chip Farms, the filly sold for $105,000.

More yearlings will sell on Wednesday before the three days of mixed sessions follow on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
