Indiana Hall front-stepped his way to his second consecutive victory in Flamboro Downs' Preferred Trot, touring the half-mile oval in a time of 1:57 for trainer Garry Merner.
The five-year-old gelded son of Striking Sahbra whacked out a wild opening quarter clocked in :26.3 before idling down his speed for driver Paul MacKenzie through middle splits of :56.2 and 1:26. He only need a :31 second final frame to hold on for the half-length decision.
