Dreamlands Latte turned in a stakes record performance to win the $35,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes – Green Acres final for three-year-old pacing fillies this afternoon at Freehold Raceway.

Dreamlands Latte, last season's NJSS Two-Year-Old Filly Pacer of the Year, grabbed the lead at the half and drew off to a two and three-quarter length victory in 1:53.4, a stakes record.

The clocking eclipsed the 1:54.3 record previously set by Pan Hanover in 2003 and matched by Valmctorian on August 21, 2008.

Dreamlands Latte, owned and bred by Dreamland Farms of Cream Ridge, NJ, was driven to victory by David Miller for trainer Joe Holloway. The odds-on favorite returned $3.40, $2.10, $2.10.

Valmctorian finished second and Lizzie McArdle third.

For Dreamlands Latte, this was her fourth win in seven starts this year, ninth in 18 career outings. She has career earnings of $146,780. She paced her lifetime mark of 1:52.3, winning a division of the Reynolds Stakes at Pocono Downs on July 5.

In a co-featured pair of $28,750 divisions of the NJSS – pari-mutuel divisions for three-year-old pacing fillies – winning efforts were turned in by Western Seduction and Happy Dreamer. Happy Dreamer's 1:53.1 mile matched the stakes record already shared by three fillies: JK Songndance (2005), Lightning D Dube (2007) and Artcotic (2007).
