Happy Dreamer and Cartniverous came up with winning efforts in their respective divisions of the Shady Daisy stake for three-year-old pacing fillies earlier this afternoon at Freehold Raceway.

Happy Dreamer, who was sent off as the 2-1 second choice in her $78,400 split, front-stepped her way to a 1:53.2 victory for the husband and wife duo of driver Andy Miller and trainer Julie Miller.

The daughter of Mcardle chopped out panels of :27.4, :56.3 and 1:24.2 before using a :29-second closing panel to seal the deal. The 8-5 favourite, Loving Caroline, was second best and Respectable rounded out the top three.

The homebred filly, who is owned by Lomangino Standardbreds of Tinton Falls, NJ, won for the second time this season and for the seventh time in her career. She now boasts a career bankroll that stands at $310,403.

Cartniverous took her $80,400 division in a time of 1:54 for owner Leonard Hubbard of Cambridge, MD, trainer John Green and driver Brian Sears.

The Artiscape miss got the better of runner-up Cheyenne Trish and third-place finisher Lightning Glory en route to her fourth win of the 2008 campaign. The victory lifted her lifetime earnings to $282,364.
