Trainer Bill Robinson sent three horses to Flamboro Downs on Monday, and all three of them found their way to the winner's circle.
Robinson watched Garrett Whelan go down the road with Romantic Adventure, who won by a length in 1:55.3. Whelan used the same approach with Rich Cat in Race 4, and the end result was a convincing win in 1:56.3.
Miss Grace completed the hat-trick for Robinson thanks to her wire-to-wire score for catch-driver J.R. Plante in Race 6. The mare led through splits of :29, :59.4 and 1:29.3 en route to the 1:59 win.
The three-win performance lifted Robinson's 2008 win total to 50, while his lifetime total climbed to 2,463. He has sent out winners with earnings in excess of $52 million in his career.
