On Sunday August 31, 2008 Clinton Raceway will be hosting its last Ontario Sires Stakes race day of the season, but there is much more than just Ontario's best to bring people out to the half-mile oval.
In addition to Ontario's brightest, the OHHA youth camp will also be at the track. Eight children -- Brianne Sloan, Aric Brindley, Luke Greenfield, Taylor Flewwelling, Andrew Grose, Luke Dupee, Chloe Middegaal and Amy Thompson -- have been at Clinton for a four-day camp which has covered all the information of standardbred racing. The highlight of the camp will be driving in an exhibition race at Clinton Sunday.
Those in attendance that purchase a raceway program will have a chance to be entered in to a draw for a camping gear set valued at over $200.
Sunday will also be Loonie Day at Clinton. Hot dogs, french fries, pop and programs are only $1 for the entire day.
First race post time is 1:30 p.m.
