Though his charge has drawn in with the likes of Badlands Nitro and Shadow Play in the first Little Brown Jug heat, Giddy Up Lucky co-owner Reg Petitpas is optimistic heading into the annual event this Thursday.
"Just having a horse in the Little Brown Jug is something special, but to draw the rail on a half-mile track is really good news," Petitpas has told Transcontinental Media.
Giddy Up Lucky is trained by Jean Louis Arsenault, who has enlisted the services of Paul MacKenzie to steer the Camluck gelding from Post 1.
"I think we have a good chance of making the final," Petitpas said.
