Dr. Ian Moore has stated that after dealing with an abscess on a front foot, Little Brown Jug winner Shadow Play is sound and raring to go. "He's the toughest horse I've ever treated in my career as a veterinarian," he said.
The comments come in an article by Doug Harkness today in The Guardian.
"He's still a little tender to touch, but he's sound and raring to go," Dr. Moore stated. "I plan to go to Ontario to train him this weekend."
On Monday, Dr. Moore told Trot Insider that he and his fellow owners are looking at the possibility to supplementing Shadow Play to the Tattersalls Pace, which takes place Saturday, October 4 at the Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky.
