Reports from Australia state that two of North America's best open pacers will head downunder next year to compete in two million-dollar events.
NSW Harness Racing Club chief executive John Dumesny told the Courier Mail that the owners of Mister Big and Artistic Fella "had signed a memorandum of understanding" to race in the Inter-Dominion and the first-ever World Cup, the brainchild of businessman Kevin Seymour.
The two events would not conflict with any major North American stakes as the Inter-Dominion - a 2,600 metre race - is slated for March 28, 2009 and the one-mile World Cup will be contested one month later on April 26.
