The Maine Harness Racing Commission yesterday entered an agreement with Autotote which will see the company forfeit more than $60,000 after having operated illegally for more than two months.

Autotote owns John Martin's Manor, an off-track betting parlour in Waterville, Maine that inadvertently operated with the wrong kind of license for 71 days in June and July.

A report on boston.com states that as part of the agreement, Autotote will forfeit more than $60,000 from its share of slot machine profits from the Hollywood Slots casino in Bangor. But it will keep profits it made at John Martin's Manor during that time.
