Two-time O'Brien Award winning driver Mark MacDonald will make the trek to Canada's west coast with a special catch-driving appearance at Fraser Downs for the track's $400,000 B.C. Breeders Classic Program on Tuesday, November 11.
MacDonald has already been listed on the Rod Therres-trained duo of Primary Purpose, the undefeated odds-on choice in the two-year-old colt pacer division, as well as top three-year-old colt pacer Royal Morn.
In addition, Trot Insider has learned that MacDonald will be donating his five per cent of purses earned to 10-year-old Cole Rutter, who was recently paralyzed in an ATV accident. Rutter is the son of trainer Carol St. Amand.
On this Sunday's card, Fraser Downs' drivers will also be volunteering their five per cent to Cole and his family.
