A quartet of Preferred events highlighted the Monday program at Western Fair Raceway, and the team of trainer Paul Kennedy Jr. and Mike Micallef had a profitable day at the track.
That duo clicked with Biletnikoff, who was a driving away winner in the $18,400 Preferred Pace. The four-year-old son of Keystone Raider used off-the-pace tactics to defeat race favourite Talk Dirty To Me and Pacific Oak in an eye-catching clocking of 1:52.4.
Markus Ernst of Orchard Lake, Michigan holds the papers on the 19-time winner, who has banked in excess of $255,304 to date.
The same trainer/driver combo clicked with Renaissance Woman in the $15,200 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace and Bobnoxious in the $12,800 Preferred 2 Pace.
Renaissance Woman, who also races for owner Markus Ernst of Orchard Lake, Michigan, kicked off cover to win in 1:56 over Lady Mach and St Lads Hailaroo.
Bobnoxious used down-the-road tactics to stop the clock in 1:54.2 for Michigan partners Daniel and Thomas Courtemanche. The eight-year-old son of Nude Beach romped to an easy win over C Ws Special and Coreys On Crombie.
Village Blast showed no mercy to the foes he faced in the $11,000 Preferred 3 Pace, winning by just over five lengths for driver Brad Forward in a time of 1:54.2. The John Nicholson trainee defeated Front Nine and Adamisastar.
Nicholson shares ownership on the four-year-old son of Mach Three with the Link Stb. Of Mississauga, Ontario.
