It is with deep sadness we report that Joseph Robert Kina, the five-month-old son of trainer John Kina and Jennifer Carpenter, passed away on Sunday, August 24.
Joseph is survived by his brother, Cameron Kina; sisters, Mikel Decker and Riley Kina; grandparents, Larry and Amelia (Kina) Hinkle and Barbara Carpenter. Many aunt, uncles and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Joseph Kina and Billy Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28 from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman), Temperance, MI. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
