Jimmie Hanover Tops NJ Classic Sale

The New Jersey Classic Yearling Sale was conducted earlier this afternoon at the Horse Park of New Jersey, with 216 youngsters scheduled to go under the auctioneer's hammer.

Jimmie Hanover, a son of Art Major out of Jates Joanna, topped this afternoon's sale thanks to a $38,000 final bid made by agent Ray Remmen of Jerrico, New York.

The colt's dam has already produced a pair of speedy winners – J Lo Hanover (1:53 - $60,228) and Quiet Cammile (1:55 - $8,325).

Cale Hanover, a Western Hanover colt out of Cami Whitestocking, was purchased by agent John McDermott of Lyndhurst, NJ for $35,000.

The dam has already produced the fast performer Coronet Hanover (1:51.4 - $155,090).
