HPI TV has announced it will be offering more bonus coverage to customers this weekend including the $565,000 World Trotting Derby from DuQuoin, Illinois, featuring the undefeated Hambletonian champion Deweycheatumnhowe.
'Dewey' will take on seven rivals including local hopeful Clerk Magistrate who is coming off a victory for driver Trevor Ritchie in the $200,000 American National at Balmoral Park in Chicago.
The World Trotting Derby goes as Race 12 on the program and is scheduled to go postward at approximately 4:40 p.m. (ET). It will be carried as a non-wagering event.
On Monday afternoon, Meadowlands Pace champion Art Official will shoot for a Cane Pace victory at Freehold Raceway. He will be taking on recent Battle Of Brandywine winner Badlands Nitro will a berth to the Little Brown Jug potentially on the line.
HPI TV will carry the Cane along with the Shady Daisy and the final of the Battle Of Freehold as part of a power-packed lineup from Freehold this Monday. These races will also be offered as non-wagering events.
