Hippodrome De Montreal Not Moving?

A report today by The Montreal Gazette states that the Commission des Institutions parliamentary committee is against funneling more capital to the struggling provincial industry, but believes that there may be another plausible solution.

According to The Montreal Gazette, the committee has concluded that lifting the requirement to relocate Hippodrome de Montréal off the island may be a way to resolve the current crisis.

The committee report also states that the provincial government shouldn't have insisted that Hippodrome de Montreal owner Attractions Hippiques move the facility north of the island without first looking into how feasible the move would be.
