Racing fans will be given the opportunity to get their picture taken with an OSS legend on Saturday evening at Woodbine Racetrack as Goodtimes will be on hand for this year's OSS Super Finals.
The 17-year-old son of Balanced Image, who is now enjoying retirement, will have a special stall set up at the front entrance and fans will be treated to free photographs with the Canadian Hall of Famer.
The photo session with Goodtimes will begin at 6:30 p.m.
In addition, Woodbine will welcome back Stormont Tuscany, who will be leading the post parades for the Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals.
The former Free For All star, also sired by Ontario stallion Balanced Image, was trained through his entire racing career by Kevin Benn. Stormont Tuscany won 29 races and earned $875,082 while taking a mark of 1:53.3. Now 13, he's enjoying a second career on the Canadian Road Horse circuit and this week was featured at the Royal Winter Fair.
Stormont Tuscany will be driven by his present owner, Bob Clancey.
Road horses are exclusively Standardbred trotters. The Canadian Road Horse Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1970 to promote this alternative use of Standardbreds.
