Driver Randy Fritz scored a pair of victories in the two $35,273 Trillium Series events at Sudbury Downs on Saturday night.

In the first event for three-year-old trotting fillies, Tameka Seelster (Trevor Henry) led the field through fractions of :29.3, 1:00.3 and 1:31.3, while Fritz made his move before the half to advance Margo Hall on the outside to win in 2:02 as the pacesetter Tameka Seelster faded to fourth.

Fiesty Fergie finished a close second, and World Premiere was third.

The daughter of Like A Prayer is trained by Ted MacDonnell and owned by Northorn Stable of Allenford, ON.

Fritz also guided Random Solution to an easy victory in the second Trillium Series event after coasting unchallenged to a four length win in 2:00.2.

Tymal Mystique (Trevor Henry) and Live In Love (Dale Fritz) were second and third.

Fritz is both the trainer and co-owner of the Angus Hall filly, along with LGK Stables of Guelph and Daniel McCann of Parkhill, ON.
