A three-win performance by Stacy Chiodo on the final day of the Mildred Williams International Driving Championship earned her the title for 2008.

The dominant day included one win during Freehold Raceway's matinee program followed by a pair of triumphs at Dover Downs on Thursday evening.

Elisabeth Jansen guided Elnathan to a 1:59.4 victory in today's first division held at Freehold Raceway. Early Connection (Anne-Marie Turenne) was second and Zeuses Wild (Ann Karin Larsen) rounded out the top three.

2nd Leg - 1st division

Chiodo took the second division at Freehold with Charlies Boy, who recovered from an early miscue to win in 1:59.4. Retirement Fund (Tammy MacKay) rallied for the runner-up award and Itsadeadmanshand (Elisabeth Jansen) was third.

2nd Leg - 2nd division

The action shifted to Dover Downs for the final two divisions, and Chiodo put on a clinic. She clicked with Fire Everybody, who romped to a seven and three-quarter length score in 1:56 over Highfields Boy (Kelly Case). Bo Knows Trouble (Tammy MacKay) grabbed the show dough.

3rd Leg - 1st division

Chiodo guided Aint No Misfit to a nine and a quarter length score in the final event. The pacer halted the teletimer in 1:58 en route to defeating Rose Show N (Kelly Case) and Prairie Steel (Anne-Marie Turenne).

3rd Leg - final division

There were 76 female drivers that competed at 32 tracks in North America in this year's competition.

Each track held a fundraiser for a local breast cancer charity or another local charity chosen by the tracks.

Together, the tracks and the drivers raised almost $90,000 at their fundraisers.
