Armbro Billow and driver Marc St. Louis Jr. capitalized on a sweet trip en route to posting a narrow victory in the $10,000 Preferred Pace on Sunday evening at Windsor Raceway.
The seven-year-old son of Rustler Hanover stalked pacesetter Armbro Warranty through panels of :27.3, :56.4 and 1:25.3 before finding clearance and rolling to a narrow win in the closing strides.
Armbro Billow prevailed by a neck in a time of 1:55.4 over runner-up Enough Hanover. Seymour Dolittle was just a half-length back in third.
Mike Watson conditions the gelding, who won for the eighth time this season for Streetwise Racing Stable of Plymouth, MI. It was the 35th lifetime score for the career winner of $269,158.
