The Atlantic Sires Stakes invaded Fredericton Raceway on Wednesday and driver Kenny Arsenault stole the show as he steered three winners.

On the card, there were two $6,700 divisions for two-year-old trotters and a pair of $6,740 splits for three-year-old trotters.

Arsenault swept both dashes for the freshmen.

Windemere Power went gate-to-wire for trainer Earl Watts. The In Power – Windemere Spirit gelding set panels of :33.3, 1:08 and 1:40.2 before blazing home in :30.4 and tripping the teletimer in 2:11.1. Dumore Laird (Alan Smith) was second best while it was over six lengths back to Wiskeyandseven (Marc Campbell), who made a break at the start, but recovered to get third.

Watts bred and co-owns Windemere Power with partner Margaret Watts. In eight starts, the gelding is 3-2-1 with earnings of $14,962.

Firedance Ridge used the same tactics for Arsenault and conditioner John Arsenault. The Force Of Life – I Love Tequila colt cut fractions of :31.2, 1:04.2 and 1:37, and then sprinted a final split of :30.3 to stop the clock in 2:07.3. Dunmore Chip (Ed Smallwood) was second and AJs Nabby (Joey Pineau) completed the top three.

Donald Dunsford bred and owns the talented youngster, who is 2-2-1 in six attempts, banking $10,341.

Up next were the two tilts for the sophomores and Arsenault made it a natural hat-trick to start the card went he guided Saulsbrook Balance to a front-end victory.

The gelded son of Nikes Image – Animated Lady front-stepped his way through panels of :31.1, 1:03.1 and 1:33.1 en route to a six and a half-length decision in 2:02. Rustico Trisox (Joey Pineau) finished second while third went to Miss Moe (Dan Romo).

The clocking was a new career best for the Russell Newman owned and trained colt. In 10 seasonal starts, he is 6-3-1 with earnings of $18,842. Lifetime, Saulsbrook Balance has registered 12 wins from 20 starts and has collected purses of $42,426.

Super S Crosby skated the long route around the track, but that didn't stop him from scoring in the final division for trainer/driver Ken MacDonald. The Force Of Life – Island Tradition gelding raced first-over the entire mile, tracking leader Scarlet Destiny (Darryl MacLean) through fractions of :32.1, 1:04.4 and 1:35.1.

'Crosby' closed in down the stretch and he had enough left to muscle the lead away from Scarlet Destiny, winning by a half-length in 2:06. Dusty Lane Rico (Vaughan Doyle) rounded out the top three.

Super S Crosby, who is 2-1-1 in nine starts and has earnings of $8,891, was making his debut for MacDonald, who conditions the trotter for owners Morah Kerr and Clare MacDonald.
