With Brad Forward at the reins, Adriatic managed to keep his win streak in tact on Wednesday night at Windsor Raceway.

The Chris Haskell trainee got away fifth as Kid Ruckus (Gene Piroski) set the tempo with a :27.2 first quarter, but Nina Mania (Kevin Hough) rolled to the lead and pulled away from the field of $5,000 claimers by two lengths.

Forward tipped the 1-2 fan favourite out, but stalled on the outside through panels of :56.4 and 1:26.2. Eventually kicking into gear, Adriatic used a :29.2 final quarter effort to prevail by a length and a half in 1:56.2.

Nina Mania stayed for second and Hustler Hall (Don Rankin, Jr.) nabbed the show spot.

The five-year-old gelded son of Astreos notched his fifth win in a row for Cassie Nantais of Windsor, Ont. His 10th lifetime score lifted his bankroll to $57,641.
