Trainer Sanford Campbell collected three wins on the 11-race program on Saturday, Sept. 8 at The Track on 2.
Campbell's first win on the card came with Betterbegoodtome, who scored as the 2-1 favourite when popping pocket in the backstretch and advancing to a 1:57.4 victory in a $3,200 conditioned pace. J. Brandon Campbell sat behind the $6.10 winner.
The Campbells came back to take a $3,000 claiming pace with Beaus Cowboy, a $7.50 winner, rallying from off the pace to win by three-quarter lengths in 1:56.1. The two then also won the nightcap, a $3,400 conditioned pace, with Tim Hurtins going wire to wire in 1:58 and returned $5.40 to win.
