Windsongs Legacy distaffer Thatsnotmyname will be looking to rebound from her recent miscue at Mohawk Racetrack this Thursday night during the eliminations for the rich

Peaceful Way Stakes.

The winner of the $437,000 Merrie Annabelle and $200,000 NJSS final will join 22 other juvenile trotting fillies in the $30,000 elims, which have been carded as Races 2, 4 and 6.

The $475,000 (estimated) final of the Peaceful Way will take place at the Campbellville, Ont. oval on September 18 along with the $1 million Canadian Trotting Classic and the $515,000 (estimated) William Wellwood Memorial Stakes.

The Jimmy Takter-trained Thatsnotmyname (PP2, J. Campbell, 1-1) was saddled with a Post 10 start in her Champlain Stakes division last Thursday. The career winner of three of five starts and $335,250 in purses broke stride before the opening quarter and was subsequently distanced. The bay will face seven other rivals in her elim (the second of the three), including In Free Trotting Series and Champlain Stakes divisional winner Crys Dream (PP8, L. Ouellette, 9-2), who will have to make the best of the outside starting spot.

Another which will have to overcome the outside post is Champlain Stakes divisional winner Martiniontherocks (PP7, S. Filion, 2-1), who will be participating in the first elim. The Dustin Jones-trained Conway Hall miss has hit the board in all of her five assignments and has compiled a record of 2-1-2. The $40,000 yearling purchase has already banked $69,965 in earnings.

The third and final elim will see the Jimmy Takter-trained Global Desire (PP1, R. Pierce, 6-5) look to extend her win streak to two. The Yankee Glide lass dominated in her division of the Champlain Stakes last Thursday, as she had an outer starting spot, raced on the outside, and drew off to win by more than five lengths in 1:58.3 over a 'good' track.
