Mares Open To Chausettes Blanche; Six For Callahan

Andrea Hill’s Chausettes Blanche ($6.40, Sean Bier) scored her fifth win of the season Tuesday, by capturing the $20,000 Mares Open in 1:53.2

.

The seven-year-old Christian Cullen mare has finished in the money in 10 consecutive starts. ‘Blanche’ launched her move late as pacesetter Ireneonthemove gave way approaching three quarters. Bier and Chausettes Blanche were the first on the outside to pounce as Ash Larue closed ground for second and Miami Diva N was a late arriving third.

Meanwhile, driver Corey Callahan registered six winners on the program. Callahan started the program on fire by winning three of the first four races.

The draw for the 4th Annual Bobby Quillen Memorial takes place Wednesday, September 8. Entries will be taken by calling the race office at 302-398-5970 between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Eliminations (if necessary) will be held Monday, September 13 with the $315,000 (est.) final taking place September 20.
