Standardbred Canada will be offering an opportunity for racing fans and participants from across the country to try and qualify for this year’s Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship, which will feature an estimated
grand prize of $25,000.
On Tuesday, September 6, the Canadian Yearling Sale Qualifier will open. Participants are required to select 10 yearlings from the online catalogue. The person who chooses the 'stable' of yearlings which brings the highest total collection of bids at the Canadian Yearling Sale on September 10 and 11 at Flamboro Downs will win a coveted spot in the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship on November 12, 2011 at Western Fair District.
