Lauren Allen’s Photo Maxx ($9.60, Victor Kirby) earned his sixth win of the year Wednesday with a 1:56.1 victory in the featured $19,000 Open Trot at Harrington Raceway.
The Allen-trained nine-year-old SJs Photo gelding made full use of his rail post and set fractions of :28.2, :58.2 and 1:27.1 and held off favourite Cash On Delivery’s charge late for a one-length score. Spunky Jack was third.
The win was the 28th lifetime for Photo Maxx, who is approaching $600,000 in career earnings.
Allan Davis, George Dennis and Kirby each had driving doubles.
