Allard Dominates At Georgian

Simon Allard ended the month of August with a standout weekend in the driver’s seat, and the hot handed reinsman carried his winning ways into September when he guided five winners on the 10-race card Friday night at Georgian Downs

.

Simon, who enjoyed a driving hat trick at the Innisfil oval last Saturday during Xtreme Horsepower and a four bagger at Sulky Quebec on Sunday, earned his first win of the evening in Race 2 aboard the John Curran pupil Amyng For Gold (1:56). The resident of Burlington, Ont. then scored back-to-back wins with Keystone Monarch (2:00) for trainer Terry Langille and Terror Talk (1:58.1) for Symon Pryjma in Races 4 and 5. Simon teamed with his brother Rene Allard for his next victory in line to Cheers To Chip (1:57.2) in Race 8 before closing out the card with the Race 10 winner Hes A Lion (1:55.2) for John Bond.

Simon is currently in the midst of his career-best season having recorded 179 wins so far in 2009 with over $1.4 million earned. The winner of 524 races lifetime has banked over $3.6 million to date.
