Hornswoggle, who shipped in from the Ontario racing circuit, has remained on PEI and dawn the rail in the Saturday night feature at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Hornswoggle, who has charted miles in 1:52.4 over Georgian Downs, is owned by Patrick Morris of Charlottetown. Ron Matheson will handle the driving duties against a powerful field of contenders that include San Marco Hanover and Victory Creed.

The first half of the late daily double also includes Rymar Chief, Clay Mater, Yankee Sun, Unfluffinbelieveable and Jazzmo.

Red Shores at Summerside has a big card planned for holiday Monday. The program begins at 1:00 p.m. and will feature red hot Tobins Star, who has won his last two starts in impressive fashion, in the afternoon top class. The Philip Doucette trainee will have the services of Walter Cheverie. Cheverie is back in the bike after undergoing shoulder surgery that sidelined the driver for months. The $2,000 class has PL Betterway, Hutchinson Hanover, Blue Meadow Willie, Barrett Jackson and Seannee Lad.

Scheduled first-race post time is 7:00 p.m. with the feature event scheduled for a 9:35 p.m. start. The program will be carried to Red Shores Summerside for customers to watch and wager. Red Shores Summerside is offering a Holiday Monday card at 1:00 p.m.
