The Standardbred Jackpot Hi-5 carryover climbed past the $150,000 mark heading into Woodbine Mohawk Park's Saturday night stakes program, which will wrap up with a mandatory payout on the popular wager.

The Ian Moore-trained three-year-old pacing gelding Devil Or Angel delivered a career-best 1:51.4 score in Friday's 12th race, a non-winners of two conditioned pace, as the even-money favourite to front a 4-5-10-1-3 Jackpot Hi-5 winning combination, which paid $370.75 for a $1 ticket.

Trevor Henry drove his third winner on the card as the son of Captaintreacherous notched his initial triumph on Canadian soil following a trio of top three finishes at Mohawk for his new owner Domenic Chiaravalle of Hamilton, Ont.

Caviart Val finished 1-3/4 lengths behind in second as the 2-1 second choice, with 7-1 Perseus Seelster, 16-1 Lous Delight and 16-1 Wilsons Vinner rounding out the top five finish order.

The Jackpot Hi-5 carryover currently sits at $157,872.40 heading into Saturday evening’s 12th race (approximate post time of 11:35 p.m.).

Saturday's stakes line-up includes the $455,000 Shes A Great Lady Stakes, $215,000 Milton Stakes, $720,000 Metro Pace, and the inaugural $1,320,000 Mohawk Million. First race post time is 7 p.m.
