Surrealist continued to dominate Inverness Raceway's top pacers on Sunday (September 25), circling a field of five in this week's Winners Over Handicap to earn his eighth consecutive victory.

Colin Kelly drove the 10-year-old Modern Art gelding in the afternoon's $950 feature for trainer Richard Mullins and owner Dana Getto of New Waterford, N.S.

With the inside post advantage, Unstoppable Speed (Shelby Miller) took the lead and carved out fractions of :28.4, :58.4 and 1:28.4 with Rambling Gambler (Rodney Gillis) following in the pocket and Tiger Town (Lewis MacDonell) advancing first-up from third. Unhurried from his outside post, Surrealist trailed the field early on before catching the cover and kicking home to score by one and a quarter lengths in 1:59.2 over the 'good' track. Rambling Gambler, who dead-heated for the top class win back on August 24, earned his fourth runner-up finish amidst Surrealist's current string of successes. Tiger Town finished third.

Surrealist has won 13 of his 21 starts this year and boasts 48 career victories on his resume.
