Officials with Vernon Downs have announced that the track is seeking grey horses for an all-grey Halloween Race on October 31.
Anyone interested should contact the Vernon Downs race office at 315-829-6825 or email the track’s director of racing, Scott Warren, at [email protected].
Further details including class and purse for the race will be determined by the response for the event. Grey or Roan horses are acceptable.
With multiple grey horses stabled on the backstretch, officials at the track are hopeful the race will be able to take place and make Halloween night an exciting one in central New York.
