On Wednesday, September 26, the Ontario Racing Commission announced that it was circulating an application from the operators of the Fort Erie Race Track for a variance to the track's 2012 approved race date schedule.
The ORC is looking to receive comments on the application from interested industry participants before making its decision on the application.
The application from Fort Erie officials refers to horse population and field size.
