The $3,200 feature was a scramble to the wire on Tuesday evening, Sept. 24 at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway with Brookdale Johnny landing on top when the dust settled.

Imalookertoo (Brady Sweet) struck the lead past the opening eighth-pole in the featured event then released Woodmere Ideal Art (Jason Hughes) to the front before moving to re-take past the :27.4 opening quarter. Howmac Charmer (David Dowling) immediately came calling first-over and challenged Imalookertoo on the outside past the half of :57.2 and three-quarters of 1:25.3. Brookdale Johnny took his shot three-wide around the final turn and mowed down the field to win in 1:54.2 at 7-1 odds. Tony Too Tall (Myles Heffernan Sr.) was second with Howmac Charmer third.

Paul Langille drove the winning pacer, a four-year-old gelded son of Rockin In Heaven, for trainer Phil Sizer and owners Doug Polley Sr., and Doug Polley Jr., of Amherst, N.S.

Dowling had a driving quadruple on the night as he scored wins with Lyons Tug Of War (2:00) for trainer Don Milligan, Illicit Affair (1:59.2) for trainer Mike Dowling, Stealing Bases (1:58.1) from the Ron Matheson barn and Dont Ask Logan (1:56.3) for trainer George Rennison.

Rennison doubled up on the program with his Truro, N.S. based stable as Darrell won earlier in the card in 1:57.4 for driver Corey MacPherson.

Jeff Holmes had a pair of victories from his Orwell, P.E.I. barn with Brady Sweet driving Elroy Shiner to a 1:56.4 win and Burn Out Hanover to victory in 1:55.4.
