Umphrey Looking For Upset In Milton

With post nine to his disadvantage in tomorrow nights $372,000 Milton Stakes final, trainer Travis Umphrey is hoping A Ps Money Maker can post a major upset against the best older pacing mares in North America

A Ps Money Maker was just a mere $2,000 yearling purchase were has Umphrey has conditioned the five-year-old mare to more than $400,000 in career earnings for owner Terry Hamilton, Joe Tinelli and Shir Win Racing Stables.

Despite morning line odds of 15-1, Umphrey is hoping for luck to be in his favour with the daughter of Cardmaster Hanover.

"We need a lot of luck in there tomorrow night," Umphrey told WEG's media department. "Those are the top mares in North America and having the nine hole is going to be a bit of a killer but maybe they get going on the front-end and she always has a nice closing kick coming for home and maybe we can pick up a piece in there."

The Milton Stakes final will go to post in race eight with an approximate post time of 9:57 p.m.

Here is the field in post position order:

$372,000 Milton Stakes
1. Ginger And Fred
2. Tug River Princess
3. Dreamfair Eternal
4. On The Glass
5. Arts Diva
6. Miss Scarlett
7. Forever Ivy
