It was announced via release on Thursday, September 22 that chairman and CEO Jeff Gural has acquired full control of American Racing and Entertainment, the owner/operator of Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs
.
Gural’s entity, Southern Tier LLC, has gained sole ownership of ARE after having bought out its partners at Plainfield Investment. Gural’s company now controls sole ownership of American Racing and Entertainment.
The American Racing and Entertainment Board of Directors consists of Jeff Gural, chairman and CEO, Tom Osiecki, president and COO, and board members Scott Freeman VP and general manager of Vernon Downs, Jason Settlemoir VP of Racing, Simulcast, and Sales, Annie Allman and Ron Johnson.
