On the heels of Ucandoit Blue Chip winning the $255,000 Jugette for three-year-old pacing fillies, her sire Keystone Velocity is on the move and will head to Eastern Canada to stand stud in 2024.
A career winner of more than $1.6 million, Keystone Velocity will stand the 2024 season at Windemere Farms in Springvale, P.E.I., for a $1,500 + HST stud fee, with a multiple mares at $1,250 + HST each.
From limited foals, Keystone Velocity has had 21 foals make the track from just 25 eligible to race. They were headlined by 1:50.2 Jugette winner Ucandoit Blue Chip, who has banked more than $560,000 in her career.
A 29-time winner, Keystone Velocity was one of the top pacers on the continent when he raced, banking more than $1.6 million in prize money. Some of his top wins included the $529,000 Levy final at Yonkers Raceway in New York, the $100,000 Potomac Pace at Rosecroft Raceway in Maryland and the $500,000 Ben Franklin at Pocono Downs in Pennsylvania in 2017 as well as the $532,000 Levy final at Yonkers in 2018.
Keystone Velocity will join other champion sires Malicious, Muscle Throught It, Somewhere Fancy and Source Of Pride at Windemere Farms in 2024.
