Two divisions of the Lady Slipper Stakes for two and three year-old trotters and the Coles Family Pace will be featured Thursday night at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. Post time is 7 p.m.

The first division of the Lady Slipper is in Race 5 for two-year-old trotters with My Daisy Duke, who won her last start in 2:06, established as the morning line favourite in the $14,000 event. Ron Gass will do the driving for Jonathon MacDonald of North Wiltshire. The line-up also includes from the rail out Dusty Lane Red, Dusty Lane Dasiy, Sweetwater Rukkas, Lil Miss Abbie, Mouled Image and BJ Carmalyta.

The Lady Slipper for three-year-old trotters will star the track record holder Waiting On A Women from the Mitch and Dave Tierney stable of Cornwall. Corey MacPherson will drive from Post 8. The son of Northern Bailey set the track record at Summerside in July and last week set a new track record for three-year-olds in Charlottetown and tied the all aged record when they toured the legendary oval in 1:58.4.

The feature race of the night is the Coles Family Pace in Race 11. Electric Moves is the 5-2 morning line favourite for trainer Paul Holmes of Cornwall. Paul's brother John, who won the Gold Cup & Saucer in 1999, is back home on the Island and will drive the six-year-old gelding. The field also includes Incredible Mike (Ken Murphy), Raging Leru (Walter Cheverie), Beechwood Tiger (Marc Campbell), Roscoes Child (Brodie MacPhee) Charming Guy (with Brian Andrew, who is a descendant of the Coles family) and CL Eighty (Kenny Arsenault).
