National Caretaker Appreciation Day was in full speed at Kawartha Downs on Saturday (Sept. 19).
Gift cards were handed out in the winner's circle to winning caretakers in each race compliments of the track, while cash cards from COSA were handed out prior to each race to lucky caretakers in the paddock.
On the racetrack, Nick Boyd and Doug Brown captured three wins apiece.
Kawartha concludes its season next Saturday (Sept. 26) with a 4:00 p.m. first race post time.
