Truro Raceway was forced to reschedule the majority of its Sunday harness racing card following an incident involving the water truck that occurred prior to the afternoon's second race.

According to reports from Truro, the track's water truck flipped over a few minutes before the second race. Trot Insider has learned that the driver of the tractor escaped unharmed and no horses or harness drivers were harmed.

No details were released regarding the cause of the accident.

With the truck on its side and water gushing onto the track, the races were delayed an hour before racing officials made the decision to reschedule. The card will be made up this Thursday, presumably with a regular 7:00 p.m. post time.
